Informal meeting of Ministers responsible for Competitiveness (Industry and Single Market)
- Scheepvaartmuseum, Amsterdam
The Competitiveness Council is working to improve competitiveness and growth across the European Union. It focuses on key policy areas like industry and the single market.
In addition to the formal Competitiveness Council in Brussels, it is customary for the ministers to meet each other informally in the member state that holds the Presidency. The European ministers responsible for competitiveness will meet in Amsterdam to discuss the digitisation of industry, strengthening the single markets (digital and services), future-proof legislation and innovation-friendly frameworks.
